June Workday

                      Weeder in front. Seeder in back (lettuce seeds added under the A-Frames)  

                                                               More weeding

                                                            But also lots of Carrots
                               And some Green Peppers, Cucumbers, Broccoli Florets, 
                           Sugar Snap Peas, and a Yellow Squash for delivery to ACTC
                                   Marigolds from last season that seeded themselves 
                                                            Last step: Watering
              In the foreground, Lilies ( bulbs saved from Easter services in the sanctuary)

May Workday

                                   Preparing soil in North Raised Bed for Tomato Plants 

                              After adding some lime into the ground, plant the Tomatoes
And remove the invasive weeds coming in from the outside flower bed

                               Marigold and Basil 'companion' plants added in front 
                               of the Tomato plants to improve yield and repel pests

                                                  Some Red Leaf Lettuce plants added

                                                       Sugar Snap Peas coming

      Making repairs to the House for Mason Bees (pollinators)

Blue Jean Sunday Earth Care

                        Plastic edging around the Flower Gardens on the outside removed.
                                          To be replaced with Wood Timber edging

                     Connecting the sections together to a short piece in the ground below
                             Nail spikes hammered in to secure the sections to the ground

                                  Adding Soil and Conditioner to the South Raised Bed
                                        Green Beans will go here (seeds and plants)
                                                                                
                            Weeding the North raised bed where Tomato plants will go

                                   Clearing the outside where the timber edging will go

Flower seedlings for planting once the weather warms up

                                                     Getting the water hoses ready

   Organic fertilizer added to Greens planted in March 
         (Lettuce, Spinach, Kale, Collards, Broccoli under cover, 
and Summer Squash in 'Cold Frame Greenhouse' below)
