August Workday

#1 Veggie this year: Cucumbers! And as you might guess, hard to find!

Getting instructions on planting new veggies from seeds

End results: Collards in the south raised bed
Lettuce, spinach, and broccoli in the 'north center' raised bed

End of the day: work crew photo-op

Also did a bit of harvesting (deliver on Monday)

And don't forget the flowers along the fence

Our last job was to take the trash to the church dumpster
(at the time inhabited by a couple of visitors!)
